Brett Strader — better known as Atrophy — is an ordained wedding officiant with the rare ability to be both grounded and unforgettable. As a performer and storyteller, Brett understands pacing, presence, and how to hold a room without stealing the moment. Your ceremony is the main event — he’s there to make it hit just right.

Registered as an officiant since June 2024, Brett specializes in alternative, non-traditional, gothic, and personalized wedding ceremonies. Whether your wedding is dark romantic, symbolic, fantasy-inspired, or beautifully unconventional, he approaches each ceremony with intention, humor where it fits, and deep respect for the commitment being made.

As a veteran and lifelong performer, Brett knows how to stay calm under pressure, read the room, and guide moments that feel natural rather than rehearsed. No stiff scripts. No awkward pauses. Just a ceremony that feels real, personal, and unmistakably yours.

🧾 DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your date
  • Remaining balance due 7 days prior to the ceremony
  • Cancellations within 14 days of the ceremony forfeit the deposit
  • Rescheduling may be accommodated based on availability
