2. You’ll receive instructions for submitting your inspiration (photos/links)

3. Complete the design questionnaire / inspiration form

4. Your custom illustration is created and delivered digitally

You may be asked to provide:

• preferred dress style and silhouette

• desired color palette

• inspiration images or moodboard links

• must-have features (corset, sleeves, slit, train, lace type, etc.)

Most accessories, including many veils and handmade pieces, typically take 14–28 business days for production. If you need an item by a specific date, please contact us before purchasing and we will do our best to confirm whether we can accommodate your timeline.

Once production is complete, your order will ship according to the shipping method selected at checkout.

We offer free shipping on orders over $50 within the United States and currently serve customers across all EU countries, Australia, Mexico, and other select international regions.

Please note that international customers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, VAT, taxes, or other destination-related charges required by their country.

We offer a 7-day return window on eligible standard size dresses to provide added flexibility while helping protect against misuse of made-to-order bridalwear. To qualify for return, dresses must be sent back in the same condition they were received.

Custom dresses are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund unless there is a significant error on our end.

Because of the nature of bridalwear and made-to-order production, return and exchange eligibility may vary by item.

Many accessories are also handmade, and eligible accessory returns must also fall within the same 7-day return window and be sent back unworn and in original condition. We strongly recommend contacting us before purchasing if you are requesting any customization, including certain veil modifications, so we can confirm availability in advance. Most of our dresses can be customized to better fit your vision, including custom sizing, custom color options, and custom train lengths. If you are interested in any of these changes, please contact us before purchasing so we can confirm availability, pricing, and production details for your specific design. For custom sizing, we will need your bust, waist, hip, hollow-to-floor, height, height with heels, bicep circumference, and arm length if sleeves are included. We recommend having all measurements professionally taken to ensure the best possible fit.

Select veils may be customized in both length and color to better suit your look. If you are interested in a veil customization, please contact us before purchasing so we can confirm available options for your chosen design, including fabric availability, color matching, length adjustments, and any related pricing or production details.

Some listing images may include stylized or digitally enhanced model presentations used to showcase our very real dress designs in a polished visual format. These gowns are not conceptual or editorial-only pieces — they are genuine products we offer, and the dress design itself is not altered. When available, real/ raw model and garment images can be found throughout our image gallery and Behind the Seams pages, and we are always available for portfolio and product image inquiries. For the most accurate representation of each gown, including construction, details, color, and fit, we encourage reviewing the full product description, sizing information, and all available imagery before ordering.

Our gowns are designed by Black Veil Bridal Studio and produced in partnership with our professional production team. We remain directly involved in overseeing design execution, construction standards, and overall quality throughout the process.
